Program Overview
PCB Design - Basics (Printed Circuit Board I)

Instruction in printed circuit board design generally required for entrylevel position in the electronic industry. Includes artwork and complete documentation for analog and digital multi-layer, flexible and high-speed boards using current IPC standards. Drafting will be performed on the computer using high-end printed circuit board software. This class uses Canvas. Class starts August 17, 2026 Course is asynchronous, no meeting times. However, it will include office hours.

PCB Design - Advanced (Printed Circuit Board II)
Printed Circuit Board Design II builds upon the design process and tool knowledge gained in PCB Design I. Board fabrication and assembly practices will be discussed in detail to re-enforce design best practices. Topics are honed to the needs of the electronics industry such as highspeed, design density and rigidflex. 12 Methods for library architecture and management will be analyzed and practiced. Assignments will hone skills in taking a project from concept to manufacturing/assembly documentation.
