Reset, Reflect, and Come Back Stronger

Breaks have a way of creating space. Not just in your schedule, but in your thoughts.

Spring Recess from March 27, 2026 through April 10, 2026 at Montebello Community Adult School Program (MCAS) offers a chance to step back and look at where you are.

Think about the weeks before the break. What felt good? What felt difficult? Maybe there were moments where things started to click. Maybe there were days where it felt harder to stay focused.

Writing those thoughts down can help more than it seems. It gives shape to experiences that might otherwise stay unclear.

This is also a time to reset your approach. If something was not working, adjust it. If something helped you stay consistent, plan to continue it when classes return.

Rest plays a role here too. It is not separate from progress. Taking time to recharge may help you return with more clarity and energy.

When regular classes and services resume after April 10, you may notice a shift. Not because everything changed, but because you gave yourself time to pause and think.

Rising is not only about movement. It is also about awareness.

And sometimes, that awareness is what helps you take the next step forward.
